If you are applying for a spouse visa extension/ further leave to remain/ parent visa extension, you will be required to do the A2 test as per the Home Office guidelines. The A2 exam consists of Speaking and Listening only. If you have already passed ESOL at A1 level previously, you will need to sit for an ESOL A2 level (Entry level 2) at an approved SELT centre.
